I’m a Storytelling Consultant who is passionate about helping writers and filmmakers tell meaningful stories that matter. I’ve overseen and edited award-winning documentaries, feature film scripts, and draft manuscripts, and I’d love to work with you.

I’m offering storytelling consultation and mentorship to share my creative approach and experiences in crafting narrative structure and creating engaging, emotional journeys, to help support you in telling your story.
I work with emerging writers and filmmakers, as well as seasoned professionals who are looking to improve the narrative of their stories dramatically.
We can work together in many different ways, depending on your project and role.
DOCUMENTARY.
No matter how overwhelming, and disorganised reality is, it can be crafted into a focused, digestible and engaging story. It is about making creative decisions to present the reality within the story, taking your subjects' voices and giving them a narrative.
We can work at any stage of your documentary project, during the creative writing process, pitching for funding, finding solutions during the filming process, and editing stages.
I have worked with producers, directors, writers, and editors, in group sessions and individually in one-on-one consultations, to draw out the dramatic story potential in their documentary.
SCREENWRITER.
The best scenes are often written after many rewrites. After much time spent with your characters and their stories, sometimes another perspective is needed to make the scenes work.
We can work on your script, or parts of the script, from your first draft stages to the final draft, re-shaping some elements to form a compelling narrative.
EDITOR.
Editing is rewriting, whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, the story is structured and re-structured during the edit.
The pace, rhythm, timing, and editing style can add layers of emotion to the scene and engage the audience differently.
Send videos or a links to your film to get professional insights and discussion on the narrative structure. We can work at any stage of your edits, from an early rough cut to fine-cut, to take the project to the finishing stage.

After the initial consultation, we can discuss an ongoing consultation, where we can delve deeper into character development, narrative structure, and your story's emotional journey. You will learn insightful storytelling techniques and develop an emotional understanding that you’ll be able to apply in your future projects.
